Prior to the establishment of Genetrump, our founding members were deeply engaged in cutting-edge research at the University of Macau's Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences and the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine, focusing on integrating the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine with modern life sciences.
Inspired by the classical theories of "promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis," our team conducted systematic screening and in-depth analysis of various traditional Chinese medicinal herbs. This effort culminated in the successful extraction and isolation of a novel, natural polysaccharide macromolecule from Eucommia ulmoides. Our subsequent research revealed that this unique polysaccharide acts like a "molecular magnet," capable of precisely binding to, enriching, and stabilizing key growth factors that promote angiogenesis and vascular maturation at the site of injury. This mechanism effectively alleviates tissue ischemia and powerfully promotes tissue repair and regeneration.
This foundational research was published in the prestigious journal ACS Macro Letters under the title, "A naturally-derived, growth factor-binding polysaccharide for therapeutic angiogenesis."
This landmark discovery not only offered a novel therapeutic strategy for cardiovascular diseases and tissue regeneration but also established the core technological foundation for Genetrump's future product development. It laid the solid scientific groundwork for our mission to translate scientific breakthroughs into innovative healthcare solutions.
